Roses and fruits lend romance to the classic scent of oud. Patchouli and musk ground the scent in its ancient form, while ylang-ylang and jasmine sing of youth and love.
1. Place your incense stick in a burner that collects the ash as it falls. Trim the stick as necessary to ensure a proper fit.
2. Light the end of the incense stick until a flame is established. Allow it to burn for a few seconds to ensure it is properly lit.
3. Gently extinguish by blowing or fanning out the flame.
4. Your stick should glow red and a gentle wisp of smoke should be seen. Place your incense stick in a safe location away from children or pets and away from all flammable material.
